Our team are on hand to help you fortify your portfolio through whisky cask investment

Whisky is increasing in value- and quickly

In 2020, the average annual capital growth rate for whisky was 13.1%. According to the “Wealth Report” (Knight Frank), rare whisky was the best performing collectable of the past decade, experiencing a meteoric rise in value of 58.6% over the past 10 years.

Whisky is a physical asset- you can touch it

Whisky casks are tangible assets with real, rooted value. To protect wealth, more and more leading investors are placing more reliance on tangible assets. In stark contrast to stocks, bonds and other “paper” instructions, tangible assets are an investment providing total ownership and control.

Share this investment with your friends

This is a fun and exciting opportunity that you will be excited to tell your friends and family about and when the time comes- literally share it with them thanks to our bespoke bottling service.

What is cask whisky?

In simple terms, Scotch Whisky can only be distilled in Scotland and is primarily made from malted barley. Scotch whisky is traditionally matured in oak casks which are sourced mainly from the US and Spain, where they have previously been used to store Bourbon and Sherry.
Before the distilled spirit can be officially called “Whisky”, it must first satisfy these important criteria:
– It must be distilled and matured in Scotland
– It must be matured for a minimum of three years in Oak Casks
– It must be bottled at a minimum strength of 40% ABV (alcohol by volume)

As demand continues to rise the supply remains fixed.
That’s why investing in a Whisky Cask with us is such a smart idea.

Demand continues to grow

Demand for whisky is growing steadily worldwide – approximately 42 bottles of Scotch Whisky are shipped every second to 180 markets around the globe, counting for 21% of the UK’s food and drinks exports.

Investment not linked to financial markets

Unlike traditional investments, such as stocks and shares, whisky is not directly tied to any financial markets. Therefore, it is not significantly impacted by shocks, such as economic recessions and is largely sheltered from the uncertainty of world events.
